Bait Fish The TWRA released two species of Class A bait fish into the lake. Click on the picture to learn how to identify the bait fish species. Other Fish On August 6, 2013 the TWRA released approximately 1,000 grass carp (white amur) into the lake for the purpose of weed control. If caught, these fish should be released immediately. Click on the photo to learn more about the grass carp.
